Shana Russell is the Head of College Counseling at Dubai American Academy in the United Arab Emirates, a KG1 to 12 school offering the IB Diploma Program, the AP, and the American High School Diploma.

 

Over the last 15 years she has worked as Director of College Counseling at Asia Pacific International School in Seoul, South Korea, as a College Counselor at Taipei American School in Taiwan, and Assistant Director of Admissions at two prominent colleges in the United States - Trinity College in Connecticut and Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in Missouri.  

 

Shana is an active member of the International Association of College Admissions Counseling (I-ACAC), Council of International Schools (CIS), and the International School Counselor Association (ISCA).  She has given numerous presentations at international conferences and has developed programs and workshops for international students who wish to study in the US. Shana is also on the Advisory Board for Unifrog.
